The important part, first
Your identity is never shown. Not to the other ministers, not to the president of the cabinet, nowhere in the interface.
And now the small print nobody usually tells you: internally there is a link between your account and what you write. It is not an oversight. It is what makes it possible to tell you when your answer gets backed, to stop someone answering a hundred times in the same room, to run moderation, and to respond to a court order should one ever arrive.
That link is unreachable from the application: the database grants no user permission to read it. Only internal server processes can. We would rather tell you than promise a mathematical anonymity that would not be true.
Bear in mind one limitation no system can solve: in a private cabinet with very few participants, whoever created it can work out by elimination who wrote what.

What data we process
Your email address and Google account identifier, to sign you in.
The cabinets you create and the answers and votes you cast, with their timestamps.
The moderation analysis result for each answer.
Payment data is handled by Stripe; we only keep the transaction identifier and the amount.
Why, and on what legal basis
To provide the service and perform the contract between you and us (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
To keep the platform safe and free of abuse, and to notify you about your own activity, on legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
To send you the digest of the best dilemmas, with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it from any email in one click.
Who else sees it
Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), OpenAI (text moderation) and Resend (email). All act as processors and handle only what is strictly needed.
For how long
For as long as your account is open. If you delete a cabinet, it disappears from public view immediately and is permanently erased after 30 days.
Payment records are kept for the period required by tax law.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, by writing to hola@socialcrisis.org. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your answers along with it.
Cookies
We only use the cookies needed to keep you signed in. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies, so you will not see a consent banner.
